Official launch of the new Tourism Office website

The Director General of Burundi National Tourism Office, Mrs. Carmen Nibigira together with her managing team officially launched the new website of the National Tourism Office www.burundi-tourism.com this Wednesday 25th of July, 2014 at “Jardin Public”. The office has changed its former website www.burunditourisme.com to facilitate Internet users and tourists to easily get information they need on tourism in Burundi. The special new tab found on the website is an events calendar where one can find most planned activities happening in the Bujumbura capital city.

Despite the fact that new website is now open to the public, it is still undergoing improvements. In order to identify loopholes within its content, Mrs Carmen called upon everyone who visits it to give their contribution in pointing out what is missing and worth adding. We will be more than happy as to take into consideration your remarks. Mrs.Nibigira precised that she chose the venue of her press conference to value the action of the non-profit Association ACVE(Action Ceinture Verte pour l’Environnement”Green Belt Action for Environment”) which focuses on environmental conservation especially in Bujumbura city’s public park “Jardin Public”.
