Christmas Market: a worthy initiative for continuity

The Christmas Market, edition 2015, organized by the National Tourism Office from 21 to 26 December 2015 allowed the urban population of Bujumbura to procure various tourism products at promotional prices for the Christmas party but also gave space entertainment to visitors. It was the satisfaction of exhibitors, visitors and especially children who received various gifts from Santa.

The artisans who have participated in the Christmas market claim to be satisfied with the sale of their products and suggest that this kind of event should be organized more than once a year, because this kind of meeting offers them a space for Partnership and commercial marketing.

Among the various leading figures of the country who have attended the Christmas Market, we can mention the Second Vice-President of the Republic of Burundi and several Members of the Government who have taken this opportunity to discover the diversity of the exhibited craftwork in the twenty-six stands and bought some of these items produced by Burundian artisans.
